Nice job on everything! I like the idea of leaving the notch for the 640 spoiler operation.  ::thumbup

I finished the repair of my fuel filler cup with the parts that Purple sent me.  I must say I wasn't quite sure about getting the stainless steel ring for the fuel filler neck but I am very glad I did. It just makes the whole thing look nicely finished.  I can't wait till I paint the inside all black and then it will really pop!

Thanks Alan  ::salute

My side oil cooler scoop didn't come assembled so we put it together yesterday, it came in a total of 5 pieces.

These are the wing uprights that I'm working on for the 670 wing I'm going to install.  I just cut them out of wood for the moment to see how they would look.

Thanks for the reminder I plan to follow suit on those adjusters!
I met a man with a dollar, we exchanged dollars and we still had a dollar. I met a man with an idea, we exchanged ideas and now we both have two ideas!!!

I used No Bull's design for my headlight adjusters and I must say it worked beautifully, thanks Chris  ::beers    If you would like to read more about it and how he designed it here is his original thread: http://lamboclone.com/index.php?topic=2145.0

I will bond these into place when I finish it all up, but as of now everything is lining up nicely and I have quite a bit of adjustability in the lenses with this method.

Now I have my engine lid latch installed also.  I'll take a picture of the bar and support we made to hold it and the exhaust lid soon.  The exhaust lid will bolt to that bar also.

Pretty nice gap between the engine and exhaust lids, I'm happy with that!

Got the latch installed and working properly, now my hood opens and closes nicely.  I used the seal from the trunk of my 2000 Passat and I had to trim just a little bit of the length, otherwise it worked out perfect.

I'm also looking for a good alternative to the hood catch, if anyone knows of one please let me know.  Here is a pic of what the OEM part looks like.

Texas makes excellent parts. Literally every piece he's sent me is perfect. Get em if you can Mike, you won't be let down.

Mike, I bought those from Texas because they weren't included in my kit either.  Here is the original thread, I don't know if he is still making them because he got rid of his molds a while ago. http://lamboclone.com/index.php?topic=1306.45

Jajajaja Mike; as my good buddy Alan said "you're all screwed up"

At least here's some good news, I bought these closing panels from Tex and they fit amazing.  Next I'll start working on getting the striker and latch on.

Hey Auto is he still making these closing panels?  That part was not included in my kit.

Pedro's doctor also works at Home Depot. That's where the hardware came from. :)

The latch and striker that I am using for the hood and engine lid came from a 1991-1993 Alfa Romeo 164 trunk.

Here is the striker before being modified to work for my hood.

I had to bend it and give it an angle so that it would go straight into the latch.

And here it is attached to the underside of the hood.
