wow that looks so clean and all line up well . did you lot of body work or the body was not that  bad to work on

Thanks Eddie, the body was good but there was a lot of detail and patch work that has to be done.  The front bumper needed a lot of attention but it's getting there.  I'm about half way done with the body work but the rest should get done faster after I finish the bumper this week.

Wow Pedro, you are kickin' butt on that car man! if you have an unveiling party I will be there!...lol

Hey Sam  ::wave  For sure I'll have a party and you will be more than welcome my friend  ::beers but you will have to bring your  ::LAMBO2 Diablo.

Goal for the week is to get this front bumper in primer.  I've finished most of the body work on it but it still has a lot of little details I want to get right.  Here are some progress pics from yesterday.

Got the door primered and back on the car, left side is now complete.  Going to jump to the hood, bumper and right fender for the rest of the week.

I jumped to the quarter glass to get the trim panels fitting right.  I still have to make the mounting point for the sail panel.

That's another good choice Eddie but my local store doesn't carry it.

Working on my door and rocker here are some progress pics.

I used it on Jims 6.0 still looking good and no shrinkage .

Dale, that product looks excellent I'm going to have to try it out on my next project. I really love body and paint so this is my favorite part of the build.

Notnilc20, thanks bro  ::salute

Work continues o. The left fender, I had to take the door off to get to work on the jamb.  Now that it's done I'll do the door and the rocker next.

I used a product called Duratec 707-002 Grey Surface Primer from Fibre Glast. It is a sprayable gelcoat and very easy to work with. It is expensive around $136 gallon but I have used on all my cars. Learned about it from the developer of the NAERC kits.  It has a shelf life of 6 months so don't order before you need it.  I covered the whole painting process including use of Duratec in my Painting chapter of my eManual http://www.lambobuilder.com/emtemp/intro.htm

Thanks Dale, my plan is to have it well detailed before o get it to paint.  Don't want to have to repair things that don't look right afterwards.

I've spent the better part of the week doing bodywork on the left side and tonight I primed the quarter.
