Assembled the lamps in the bucket and did a mock up with the lower bucket. A nice seal with the weather striping

SM:  Awesome work.   Do you plan on driving under water?   Is there a chance that vapor will cloud the lens later when used? or will these be sealed units?

Thanks 01! Well mine will be sealed but not by using silicone around the rings and lamps. Hopefully work out as planned and keep moisture out, we will see

made some changes to the back side of the buckets.

Dyna glass to build/smooth the egdes

Used some 3m adhesive then reinforced with fiber glass

bought a bracket which made it easier to mount in the confined space.

Need to make some adjusters and brackets for my headlight lamps.

Lost count of how many times I have had the front brake bracket, calipers and tires off

The adjusted bracket is back and in and everything appears to work correctly!!    Finally?

The rears brakes will be next, although the issue will probably resolved by taking .030 off the diameter of the rotor...we will have to see.

bought oem sized replica headlight buckets a couple of years ago.

The REDO headlight parts are pretty beat.  The rings are melted and out of round.  Not sure if it was caused by the heat from the projectors.

Using a 3" for the larger light which replaces the 2.5".  The fog light will be the Hella used in the OEM headlight.

Took a look at the existing headlights on the REDO. They are the G28 buckets.

That will work too.  My adapter plate bolts to the oem fiero spindle.  My problem is that the oem caliper mounts to the inside of the mounting arms and the Corvette adapter plate bolts on the outside surface.  I'm going to have to remove my spindles and mill the arms flat and on a 90 degree to the spindle.  As it is now, the caliper is cocked.

It's your call.  Either cut the rotors down another .050" or get out the dremel.  I wouldn't mess with the mounting holes.

Took off .030 which reduced the diameter by 1/16.  Taking another .050 would reduce the diameter by another ..... well that amount is too much.

I have another set of brackets to play with   dropped them off at a "real machine shop"  owned by my friend.  Either adjust the caliper holes or make a new bracket that works.

Richard at Arraut Motorsports is a nice guy but the product is sloppy. As my machine shop friend says... "what kinda crap are you bringing me now?"     told him I still have the rear brackets to go.....     .
