Wow that looks great! What is that plastic you are using for your wheel wells and where did you purchase it?

Thank you, its ABS plastic 1/8 inch thick. Its pretty inexpensive.  Google ABS plastic near your home as you can get bigger sheets as shipping would cost more than the product.

Made a flange on the qtr panel and scoop and welded up a frame for the NEW oil cooler and trimmed  and fitted the wheel well liner.

Pretty happy how solid the oil cooler mount is and the way the wheel well liner looks

I need a piece of ABS 10.5 x 76 inches.  this will be a cover and attach to the rocker and frame underneath to the car to give a clean look

spent most the day working on the floor in a horizontal position.

Did some body work on the rocker and qtr panel as i cut out the G28 rocker /scoop and replaced with OEM replica

used dyna glass to fix the gap left where I cut out the G28 rocker, Between the qtr panel and OEM replica scoop

The doors are looking fantastic! People who haven't worked on their doors yet can't fully appreciate the amount of work that goes in to them to get them right. Great job! Keep it up! ::thumbup

Thank you Neils88,  yes the doors have a lot going on in them.  Im glad I didnt start on the doors, gave me some time to refine my skills.

Well it looks like I haven't done anything on the car  :LL:,  but a lot of fiddling around with the outer door skin, fiber glassing sand etc to get the side view mirror to mount.  I have had this door skin on the car, off the car so many times  ::toothy

had to add a flange on the upper part of the door, REDO the mirror mounting area, finalized my outer window scraper brackets (3m8115 then FGP). Added some wood blocks and bolts to mount the skin to get a better idea of how it all coming together

Appreciate the progress photos. Especially when you demonstrate that just because something doesn't fit what you have, you can make it fit. Great inspiration for all builders.

Thanks Dale, Not a whole lot fits on the REDO, LOL!  Its a slow process for sure!  Hope to have my car looking as nice as the ones you have built.

While waiting on a cable to do my inner door latch release, Fiber glassed the outer door skin in a few needed areas

The gaps were just to large for just dyna glass

The bottom of the door was also to short.

Also created a little flange on the door skin just above the handle.

Nice thing about fiberglass I can lay it up and go do some yard work, come back and do the next bit  ::toothy

Test wired the Cadillac Catera power mirror switch to the existing Fiero GT power mirror wiring, then the Murcielago side view mirror.

Soldered up the catera switch  to the fiero wiring, nice and neat    ::toothy

back from vaca and  on to the REDO :o

Go figure had a little issue with the fiero wiring for the door locks.   Not good to have the 12v supply exposed

Made a mount for the MES Swiss made door lock actuator.

Mounted the Chinese door lock control module

Video of the door locks  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsAp-LKQZos    :LL:
